Who We Are

At Advocates for Autism, we empower autistic children to find meaningful jobs and become active community members.

A group of people wearing colorful clothing stand close to each other against a light-colored wall. One person in the foreground holds a yellow jacket. There are skateboards visible near them, and a disability parking sign is mounted on the wall.
A child wearing a green shirt is sitting at a table, interacting with a tactile toy. The toy consists of a wooden board with several blue circular frames containing different textured materials like fabric and sandpaper. The child is focused on touching these textures.

Our Mission

At Advocates for Autism, our mission is to empower autistic children and young adults to live fulfilling, independent lives. We provide education, resources, and hands-on opportunities that build confidence, develop essential life skills, and prepare individuals for meaningful employment — showing the world that every person is capable, talented, and deserving of opportunity.

A person holds a rainbow flag and a colorful protest sign that reads 'Some parents are their child's first bully... GSA's save lives!' The background shows other people, some wearing jackets.
A large billboard features an image of a man and a child smiling, with a message promoting a safe childhood. The background is a clear sky with scattered clouds.
